Located on a small side street just off the Strand, Terroirs http://terroirswinebar.com/ is a “natural” wine bar and restaurant with a heavy French influence. The large wine list has many wines and aperitifs listed by the glass, some familiar, some not so familiar. I have visited Terroirs on several occasions and have never failed to have a good meal. The menu changes almost daily, with the option of having a plat du jour with a matching glass of wine and everything from charcuterie platters to light meals or more traditional main courses. Recent visits saw us try generously sized Devon Crabs with thick home made mayonnaise, the great charcuterie and snails and bacon on toast in a lush green garlic sauce that no amount of extra strong mints could remove, all of which received high praise indeed
. Expect to pay around £30 for lunch with wine and coffee.
